In this tutorial, we take a look at all of the photography equipment that I use on a regular basis. There’s quite a bit of gear covered here, so I’ve provided some external links for those of you who want to get some extra information.
If you have any questions about any of this stuff, just let me know!
Thanks!

It’s a great video, Kert. A+++
I have Canon FD lenses, and I never thought that I could use it with Digital Camera. Is the adapter for Panasonic GF1 only? I want to try micro 4/3rds cameras.

Hey jiwoon. I’m pretty sure there’s FD adapters for quite a few different cameras out there. The advantage of using them with the micro 4/3rds format is that the adapters
Don’t have glass in them, so the quality is a lot higher than the adapters that need a piece of glass in them. Just do a search on google for your camera and check out if there’s ant adapters for you

Hey Kert thanks allot for this rundown on your gear!
I was happy to see you had the GF1 as I just picked one up myself. Trying to get familiar with menu differences from my Rebel and learn what all I can ignore and where to put more focus. Hope you’re having a good winter too. Kinda bummed I’m gonna miss Festival this year.

Hey love the video and your gear but I had a question about what effect you used for your picture in picture 7:42 to like 8:00 I was wondering how you made it like tilt to the side where one edge is longer than the other! what effect was that in the picture in picture I would love to hear from you soon!

Hi Tony,
That picture was taken with a fisheye adapter. I’m not sure exactly what you mean when you say “made it tilt to the side where one edge is longer than the other”? If you want to shoot me an email with more details, I can try and help you out
Thanks!

Nice video!
But why don’t you switch to EOS cameras?

Thanks Alessandro! The reason i’m not using a full DSLR is I find the way to large and bulky to carry around. They’re also to overbearing when using them in a more casual environment. I find the small form factor of the GF1 is perfect for stealth photography, and the size of the camera makes it a lot easier to throw in my backpack and carry around. Also, I hate investing 1000’s of dollars into a camera, because then I’m not as willing to take risks with the equipment. The cheaper the gear, the more risky I feel I can be with it, like getting neck deep in water and snapping off a few shots. You won’t see me doing that with a $3K DSLR rig
